Hi, I’m Dafni 👋

​

I’m a tattoo artist based in London, working under the artist name “Yugen” which means playful illusion.

Drawing is one of my earliest memories.

 

From a young age I was fascinated by video games, anime and Disney films, before eventually discovering the world of The Lord of the Rings and dark fantasy lore.

Before I started tattooing, I studied media and animation, which deepened my interest in psychological horror, the fantastical, and the idea of telling an entire story through a single image.

 

During my apprenticeship, I was surrounded by people who were incredibly supportive while I learned how to translate my illustrative style into designs that truly work on skin. That process shaped the way I approach tattooing today. Thoughtful, intentional and always rooted in storytelling.
